Manley Burke LPA Welcomes New Attorney Emily J. Couch
Cincinnati, OH, May 3, 2021 – Manley Burke LPA is pleased to announce the new addition of Emily J. Couch to the firm as an attorney. The addition of Emily is a part of the firm’s continuing commitment to the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region.

Emily earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from the Northern Kentucky University, going on to earn her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. She is an experienced problem solver representing her clients both in and out of court. Emily’s diverse practice includes litigation, counseling and training in the areas of employment, real estate disputes, landlord/tenant issues, estate planning and probate disputes and corporate matters.

Manley Burke LPA Elects New Partner
The Cincinnati law firm of Manley Burke is pleased to announce that it has elected a new partner, Micah E. Kamrass.
Micah’s practice focuses on higher education law, real estate law, and election/campaign finance law. In his higher education law practice, Micah serves as general counsel and special counsel to numerous international fraternities and sororities and their affiliated entities. In real estate practice, Micah provides counsel on a wide range of real estate matters to clients ranging from small family-owned businesses to some of the largest companies in the world. In his election/campaign finance law practice, Micah provides trusted counsel to many of Cincinnati’s elected officials and other civic leaders.
Micah attended The Ohio State University for undergraduate, graduate, and law school. While there, he served as Student Body President where he represented 40,000 students. Micah was also President of the Ohio State University chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi and served as a member the Alpha Epsilon Pi international Supreme Board of Governors. In addition to his law degree, Micah has a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership and Policy from Vanderbilt University. Micah also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Higher Education Law at the University of Louisville.

About Timothy M. Burke
Much of Timothy M. Burke’s practice is devoted to local government law and the government decision-making process. His background prepared him for that. He spent four years in Cincinnati City Hall as Legislative Assistant to then Council member Jerry Springer (yes, that Jerry Springer), served as Executive Director of Little Miami, Inc., a non-profit corporation dedicated to the preservation of the Little Miami River, a state and national scenic river, and twice served on the staff of Congressman Tom Luken. Today, 50% of his practice involves representing governmental entities, representing clients in front of governmental decision-making bodies, or litigation for or against governmental entities. He has served as Law Director for one of Cincinnati’s suburbs, Lockland, for more than 30 years and has also served as Law Director for another suburb, the Village of Evendale for over a decade. He has frequently served as Special Counsel to numerous other local governments and often is asked to speak on topics including municipal law, land use and zoning, eminent domain, civil rights and elections law. He has also served as Special Counsel to the Attorney General of Ohio.
Mr. Burke also maintains an extensive national practice, representing fraternities and sororities and speaks at several national conferences each year.
